Chromosome studies indicate a modal number of 63 with 3 distinct marker chromosomes and a small ring chromosome. This is a hypertriploid human cell line. The modal chromosome number was 61, occurring in 32% of cells.
However, cells with 63 chromosomes also occurred at a high frequency （22%）. The rate of cells with higher ploidies was 8.5%.
